Notifications
Little Bean's reminders learn your baby's recent rhythm. There are no fixed intervals, so nudges arrive when they actually make sense.

How the smart reminders work
Little Bean doesn't use fixed alarms you have to set. It watches your baby's recent rhythm (roughly the last 7 days, daytime only, so long overnight gaps don't skew it) and nudges only when something is genuinely overdue. Every caregiver's logs feed the same picture, so it stays accurate no matter who logged the last feed.
- Feeds: learns your typical gap between feeds. Until there's enough history, it falls back to about every 3 hours. Learned gaps are kept between 1 and 6 hours, so it's never spammy and never silent.
- Diapers: the same idea, based on your baby's usual dry window, with a fallback of about 4 hours. Once it has seen enough dirty diapers, it can also predict a poop about 30 minutes before your baby's usual time.
- Sleep (wake windows): based on your baby's age until it has learned from your logged naps. As a rough guide, that's about 1 hour awake for a newborn, 1.5 hours around 3 months, 2.25 hours around 6 months, 3.5 hours around a year, and 4 to 5 hours by 18 months. You get a first nudge at the typical window and a gentle second one if the wake window runs long.
- Growth: flags when a new weigh-in crosses a WHO percentile band, so you can raise it at your next check-up. This is information, not medical advice.
Quiet hours
Turn on Quiet hours to silence notifications overnight (for example, 22:00 to 07:00). Trial-end and billing alerts always send.
Not getting notifications?
At the bottom of the Notifications screen, tap Push notification diagnostics. It runs a quick end-to-end check and sends a test notification so you can see where things are blocked.
